Firefighters Douse New Milford House Blaze

A resident was treated for minor smoke inhalation during a Tuesday afternoon house fire in New Milford, responders said.

Borough firefighters battled cluttered conditions while quickly dousing the second-floor River Road blaze around 4:30 p.m.

The New Milford Fire Prevention Bureau was investigating the cause.
